Workshop on Psychophysics: An insight into brain through behavioral investigation

Psychophysical experiments are widely used in different branches of science to study the relationship between input sensory information and the perception they produce in human and non-human species. The goal of this workshop is to enable participants to design and implement psychophysical experiments and to analyze the results. Therefore, in this workshop, after becoming acquainted with the basic concepts, theories and applications of psychophysics, the participants will learn how to design and implement psychophysical experiments is MATLAB. Finally, they will learn how to quantitatively analyze psychophysical results in two real-life projects along with instructors.

Unfortunately, the number of participants is limited. For meeting the participants' requirements please send the completed pre-registration form and academic CV by e-mail to rebrahimpour@srttu.edu before 7th October 2017 (15th Mehr 1396). After a selection process, only 24 individuals from the pre-registered list will receive an invitation from the organization committee to complete their registration procedure and payment.
